David Reed, Founder & Principal of SustainMobility

David Reed, Founder & Principal, is an entrepreneur who is passionate about decarbonizing our transportation sector. Prior to founding SustainMobility, he spent 13 years forging public-private partnerships and working in business development for small and large organizations, across various industries. His unique blend of experience - urban planning, non-profit community development, marketing, sales, and partnerships - has shaped his perspective and holistic approach.

David has over a decade of experience leading and advising bike share and micromobility companies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography & Urban Studies from Temple University. David becomes deeply invested in client shared success, is a coalition builder, and problem solver. As a lifelong learner and urbanist, he is driven by a passion for cycling and creating livable cities. You can find him riding on two wheels in and around Boston.

Speck Dempsey, led by Jeff Speck and Chris Dempsey, is an internationally recognized city planning, urban design, and transportation policy firm serving municipalities, non-profits, and private developers. Recent projects include downtown master plans, walkability studies, transit-oriented developments, urban and suburban infill plans, and designs for new towns, villages, streets, blocks, and buildings.

Gregg Corso, Affiliate Consultant

Gregg Corso launched Corso Consulting in 2021 to support several early-stage startups by providing operations, business development, and launch project management. He has a proven track record of driving growth and expansion with tech-enabled products and programs. As Global Head of Launch Operations at Superpedestrian, he led the launch of 60 city markets across 12 countries, utilizing his expertise in project management, operations, and infrastructure to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for growth. He’s held management roles at Zagster and Uber (JUMP), and is supporting SustainMobility in new market expansion and project management.

Julio May, Affiliate Consultant

Julio May is a GIS expert and mobility analyst with over 15 years of experience in geospatial analysis, IT, and project management. Specializing in clean energy and environmental advocacy, he has a diverse background working across the Americas and Western Europe. As an independent GIS consultant, he excels in spatial data analysis, custom map creation, and GIS solution development for various industries. Previous roles include managing electric vehicle programs, supporting urban planning for e-scooter sharing, and developing municipal work order systems. He is also a strong advocate for government transparency and accountability, continuously fostering innovation and creative problem-solving within teams and projects.

David Reed’s experience in the shared micromobility industry has included strategy, public policy, feasibility analysis and planning, business development, management, and marketing. He’s led the establishment of more than 60 public and private bike and scooter share systems, in partnership with cities, universities, and real estate companies, including city-campus joint systems (Fort Collins and Colorado State University), regional systems with transit agencies (Rochester, NY), and many private systems for tenants/employees/residents.
